Otway Odyssey MTB Marathon Eve

It is bucketing down rain outside and it's only 6.5 hours until Go Time but Ace looks super relaxed listening to sugar lips Dennis Cometti bringing his metaphors to the masses.

It is going to be a world of mud tomorrow... bring it!

Chateau Rewind

In 2009 it was Camp Crusty, in 2010 Beechworth Caravan Park. 2011 is altogether different scenario as roughing it just doesn't make the grade any more. Mad On The River is the place to be with access to the Ovens River and a custom built Table Tennis Tournament Arena. We won't be slumming it this year as we make espresso and sip fine vino under the grape vine out the back.

N+1 or S

Looks like another build to me. Thinking of bringing the world of stencil art to the bike. Will either be a massive success or a catastrophic failure. Either way this little baby is going to love being thrashed around Lysterfield Park and that is a certainty!

The grey enamel primer will form a matte base for artistic endeavour to be layered upon. If you have any ideas pop them in the comments or email images to lloyd@rewindcycle.com.au for consideration, mostly to check whether my limited creative skills are up to the task.

Pump it up!

A lot a boxes have being released from customs into the eager hands of Rewind today. There are many gourmet parts that will be blogged for you to drool over but in the meantime check this out.

When I first got my Blackburn Mini about 8 years ago I thought I as the coolest kid on the block with my ultra small and shiny reinflation device. Then gradually I became less and less cool as friends pulled out smaller and smaller pumps.

Well check this out peoples! I might look like a bike molester hunched over the wheel furiously pumping away on this little bad boy but I'll guarantee you won't find a smaller one.

Back at Mordi...

....BP sprints have already been called.

Sorrento Pie Rolls

According to top nutritionists the best sustenance half way through a 220km journey ride is the one and only Pie Roll. Comes hot and tasty with and odd smile from the bakery chicks.

Franky-town.

Oh don't take me to, a Franky-town!

What the?!?

I've heard of cyclocross bike, trials bikes, touring bikes and fold up bikes but what on earth is this?
