Concorde - better photos, however...

Took some better pictures of the completed Concorde today, which look great, but a little heart breaking.

As I had it balanced on a pedal against the curb, the wind took it and pushed it over. As a result the RHS pedal, grip and side of the saddle came to grief. The pedal and grip I'm not as concerned about, but the saddle has now a small battle scar where the smooth leather top has grazed and the suede like base has become exposed... not sure what to do with it - Mick I'll have to come see you!!

It is very nice to ride though, even with the toe overlap on the front wheel!

Last piece of the puzzle

Went around to Busyman's place this morning, and boy has he been busy.

Here is the last piece of the puzzle for the Concorde; a lovely recovered Selle san Marco Rolls with the Concorde bird logo relief in the top.

I love the green hand woven & stitched rear detail, and of course the perforated design (with hand dyed green base).

Thanks again, Mick.

Only the build is left now - stay tuned!

Errrrrr..... are we a Mixte factory?

It's weird how things go.

We just got stock of two more mixtes for two more WAGs (Wives And Girlfriends) builds.

This could keep us occupied for some time.

One will be pearl white with celeste blue accents. Mmm. Tasty.

There's a new Sheriff in town.

The Moser got it's final couple of coats at Troy's last night and this afternoon. The candy red goes perfectly with the chrome.

Now the fun starts! The Campagnolo 11spd Athena groupset is on the way from Pro Bike Kit. I would like to personally thank the British Chancellor of the Exchequer for printing all those extra pounds making each of my Aussie dollars buy so many more lovely bike parts than it used to.
